Eiichi Matsuyama

Hokkaido Genic & Photographer

Born in Osaka, after he graduated, Matsuyama Eiichi (A-Chan) visited many places and was bewitched by the natural beauty of the "Snow Country". He finally made the decision to settle down in Hokkaido.

After graduation, A-Chan visited the World Heritage site of Yakushima and New Zealand, and was inspired by the breath-taking scenery, he began his photography career, hoping to show more of its natural beauty to everyone around the world.

In 2008 he started working as a ski instructor. This also led to the creation of his photo service for his students and guests at Hoshino Resort TOMAMU.

In 2012, A-Chan traveled to Alaska for three months, traveling alone through the mountains and forests, taking numerous photos of the nature that surrounded him. His photos were printed by Canon and published at Canon's event 'Tokyo Big Sight', in 2015. That same year A-Chan held his first photographic exhibition in Japan, during a ICI ishii-sports event.

Now, some of his photos are being displayed at the ICI ishii-sports Kanda branch in Tokyo. And, the photo book "Alaska 90 Days" is being displayed at the Canon Salon in Ginza, Tokyo.

Until now, our travel photo service is being held in various resorts and is supported by many Tourism Centers in Hokkaido and Kansai area.
